Sense is not tracking my sleep times accurately

My sense started reporting only the last three or four hours of my sleep. Consistently dropping the first two to three hours.

My sense2 doesn’t show me awake during my insomnia periods of 1-2 hours even with hours before and after my awake period.

Hi there, @gsmontrose. Thanks for stopping by in the Fitbit Community Forums. @lauragail It's nice to see you around. Thank you two for sharing the details about the issue with your Fitbit devices.

As a first approached, I'd recommend to sync your Fitbit device to the app after waking up. This will help to make sure that all your data is sync properly.

Also, note that your time asleep is calculated by subtracting your time spent awake and restless from your overall tracked sleep time. For example, if you slept 8 hours but woke up 2 times for 15 minutes each, your time asleep would be 7 hr 30 min.

To learn more about your time asleep in sleep stages, see What should I know about Fitbit sleep stages?

Edit or delete sleep logs in the Fitbit app. For instructions, see How do I add, edit, or delete Fitbit data and activities?

You’re exactly right in explaining how sleep is monitored. This is my third Fitbit watch and I’m very familiar.

On your other note, of course I sync my watch to my app every morning. It’s the first thing I do when I wake up.

This watch is malfunctioning and I’m quite unhappy about it.
