Sense is still stuck on the Fitbit logo

I followed the steps below, and y sense is still stuck on the logo:

"according to the description of your post, it seems like you've performed a factory reset instead of a regular restart. That would explain why you cannot connect your watch to your Fitbit app. With that said, I'd recommend trying the steps below:

1. Remove the Sense from your phone's Bluetooth settings and in the Fitbit app.

2. Restart your Sense.

3. Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use.

4. Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.

5. Set up your Sense."

Welcome to the Community, @emcmullen.

Thanks for sharing the steps that you've tried prior to posting. I'm sorry the issue with your Sense persists and just to confirm, may I know what happened after the set up process? Did your Sense get connected on the Fitbit app? If not, did you get an error message on the Fitbit app? Also, what is the model of your phone?

I understand you've tried troubleshooting your watch, but please give a try to the following in the given order:

  1. Forget the Sense and Sense Controls from the Bluetooth settings.
  2. Turn off other Bluetooth connections nearby.
  3. Make sure the Fitbit app is updated.
  4. Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone.
  5. Open the Fitbit app, tap your profile picture > Set Up a Device.
  6. Select your Sense and follow the on-screen instructions.

I too am experiencing this issue and I’ve tried everything suggested. Now I can’t even set up the sense to the app. Only had my sense for 18 months so it’s out of warranty. Very frustrating and now feel lost without it.
Also feel that Fitbit should test their firmware and software updates before releasing to users to avoid problematic issues like this. This turns people off from the product.

I’m running into the same issue, my watch went dead yesterday, so I charged it and since then I get the Fitbit logo on the watch. I tried the steps from the app and the extra steps described in this thread but no luck, it still won’t work. I’m running an iPhone XR with the latest iOS 15.6. What’s next?

My fitbit is doing the same.

I tried to start a workout, but the screen was unresponsive - other options like google assistant worked fine.

Held the side button down for 10 seconds until the screen turned off to try a reset, and not it won't stop cycling through a black screen and the fitbit logo, vibrating every 5 seconds or so.

The fitbit app cannot find the Sense since it won't actually turn on.

I've only had the Sense for maybe a month.

Well everyone just don’t know how to explain but for some unknown reason today after trying yet again, my sense finally synced to the app and is now working.
All I did was kept trying to restart the sense and even though most of the time just flashed through and the logo appear nothing this time it showed it wasn’t synced to the app. So proceeded with the set up and is working. Had to set my alarms and lost my sleep data, readiness score, skin temp. Obviously haven’t worn the sense since Friday when it stopped working and it’s Monday but shouldn’t have lost my previous data. At least it’s working…for now
