For the past few months, my Fitbit Sense takes so much longer to sync in the morning (5 minutes vs. 45 sec). Research for this specific issue leads only to a suggestion to "turn on all-day sync" which is not an option I find on the Sense (and the post is over 5 years old). Is it just poor design that causes this, or worse - a case of "we don't know... have you tried to reboot?" Ideally there is a simple fix and data should sync in under a minute.

Hi @JonWmTay - the Fitbit App now has automatic sync which is active by default to replace all day sync which was optional.
Syncing issues after often telephone related, sometimes a phone restart resolves them.
As you probably have done that, try removing the Sense Bluetooth entries from the phone, logout of the Fitbit App, swipe off the active window and for Android clear the storage cache and force stop it and restart the phone and watch.
Login again and this should setup a new pair and link, if it doesn't use the "+ Set up a Device" and replace, and sync manually with a pull down of the main Fitbit App page on the phone.
See if that helps.
