Sense issues reported by reviewers

I've read 7 different reviews and every single one says that this device is half-baked. I'm really worried about this. Anyone at fitbit could tell me if they are aware of those issues and if are going to be fixed in a day one firmware update?

- slow OS

- slow animations

- not so accurate HR readings when exercising.

- no spo2 readings if you don't enable the spo2 watchface (WTF FITBIT!!)

- no voice responses from alexa
- no voice calls at all.

- Lack of information about stress management data.

I just did an hour yoga session and while in particular pose the STUPIDLY placed solid state button pressed against my wrist and turned the watch off!! Lost all the data plus it kept double pressing so I had to keep clicking resume! Did they not fu**ing test this watch or something? How was this not picked up?? £300 watch and you have turn off long press because your wrist keeps activating Alexa!! I don't know if I should send back or not, they can't fix this can they? I agree with everything you are saying above!

My fitbit sense has halted on time and has not changed after a day later.  I am unable to restart.  Ive put on charge thinking it would make it do something but it simply stays on the same screen.  The firbit sense is only 4 days old.  Any suggestions?

Is anybody else having problems with the HR readings during exercise?

TIA

Almost everyone. If you stay super still it will be accurate. Once you move a bit , it will be all over the map.

That's about it actually.

I'm holding off until next year to get the Sense. Hopefully, when Google fully acquires Fitbit, together they can improve on their 2020 launch of their new health and stress smart watch. I have a Versa II, and I get the new HR zones, SPO2 nightly average readings, Temp, Breath Rate, and HRV with the new Health Metrics platform within Premium. I didn't see these were available to my Versa I when I checked a couple of weeks ago. The Versa II HR monitor is pretty accurate for aerobic exercise, not so much for Yoga, but I can live with that. Plus, I bought a large variety of watch bands that are not compatible with the Versa Sense. I hope Fitbit is reading our posts, and they truly work out the kinks of the Versa Sense. I really wanted to buy it, but having almost all of the latest metrics available on my Versa II and hearing about the Versa Sense software bugs on Android, the indented home button awkwardly placed, the HR monitor inaccuracies, the new infinity bands, and the lack of responsiveness for screen gestures was a huge turn off.

I just did comparisons with my old Ionic (which I measured against another identical ionic with same firmware) and my old Garmin. They were almost all identical to my physically taken HR. - The HR during exercise is about 40-50 % difference - lower on Sense, which also affects daily calories (and therefore my potential calorie intake). Such an expensive device that is not even close to being accurate.... Very Disappointing....! 😞  iOS on phone, but doesn't make a difference in my readings...

Plus the useless thing won't stay connected to my iphone but my old Surge, which is sooooo old still gets calls and messages! Updated from surge to ionic, then ionic to Sense. It is definitely not an upgrade! It is rubbish

Had my sense (first, AND LAST, fitbit ever) for less than a month. Sending back to amazon after my Garmin gets here this afternoon. Never again fitbit, never again.

Well, seeing as their help and support directs you either to a social media platform (I'm not f*cking signing up for twitter, no, just no) or here to a forum, should speak volumes. I wish I knew this before I wasted my time, patience, and money on a garbage product by fitbit.
