Sense keeps disconnecting from Android

My sense never stays paired with my android phone. When I try to pair it, it's wanting to connect with my Smart TV instead. How can I remove the TV from being shown as one of my devices? And when I do manage to get it to pair with my phone, as soon as I get in my car it pairs with that instead.

I'll be glad to help you out in regards to this issue connecting Fitbit Sense. 

To do so, I need to remark the fact that this process might change from Android to Android. As a reference, look at this screen shot from a Samsung phone:

That "gear icon" at the right side of the SS, allows you to manage with devices connected to your phone. On your device look for the one that belongs to your tv, press on that icon, then press on the option Forget device. By doing this you will remove the device from your bluetooth settings and actually, most Android devices work just like this one. 

Once you have done that, go to the Fitbit app and try setting up your Fitbit Sense from the beginning until you get the update done.
