Hi since I bought my Fitbit sense three weeks ago the GPS signal goes on every run at the 8km mark exactly no matter where or when I run and it won’t reconnect this is really really annoying I previously had the blaze and had no issues

are you running in the exact same track or path maybe at the 8km mark there is some type of major interference have you kept running past this and does it reconnect & i wouldn't go by what the watch is saying during the run I go on 10 mil walks i lose connections to gps here and there but when i check out the map on the mobile app it shows every thing perfectly i even go to spot i know that i lost connection i do a figure eight loop when i notice my connection get lost that way i can see it on the map the figure 8 loop to see if i actually really lost connection and it shows me doing a little figure 8 on the map during those times so it still connected some how I don't carry no phone with me so it all the watch's GPS keeping track. so maybe next time at 8km  mark  start running in a figure eight and keep running on  then latter check your map see if you was really disconnected from GPS tracking? it just a suggestion couldn't hurt keep up the working out & have fun man.

Sense GPS connection seems to be very fragile. It is very unreliable. For me, it always takes at least 10 minutes to connect, it disconnects immediately when an obstacle appears (circumstances when Garmin and mobile phone can keep connection, Sense loses it). It does reconnect but it takes time. If you run, it won't affect your distance as distance computation is done only using steps and stride. However, if you use automatic stride adjustment (using GPS) then it may get affected by bad GPS readings from the last run and will trash your next run (hence, it is better to find your stride length and adjust manually so bad GPS won't affect it). The worst-case scenario was when I ran half-marathon and GPS couldn't connect for the first 6km. The long initial connection is a usual problem. I know I can open Exercise app and wait for a connection but I need to be outdoor and I don't have time to wait 10 or more minutes (I run during lunchtime). So I start my run after the Garmin watch acquires connection (takes a few seconds, not minutes).

Update to this I changed my route again and went on a slower run it’s actually not the 8k mark but 36 minutes it stops working so annoying

one last suggestion I can offer: Here is my Suggestion some where before you walk out the house to get ready for your run or where ever you happen to be sync your watch to your phone, and yes I am starting to be very unsatisfied with sense I most likely will be returning it to Costco at the end of my 90 days return and get me a better work out watch maybe suntoo or apple watch I kinda feel apple watch will fall in same category as fitbit watch a toy that doesn't really work as advertised not even close.
I have been testing the S--- out of the GPS I removed the app completely and also tested the watch GPS this way and noticed the GPS was BAD like this. My watch started saying I need to connect to the mobile app to help enable my GPS it took about 6-10 minutes to hook up and kept dropping I always before synced my watch before I did almost any of my exercises it never occurred to me not too do that so this past week I deleted the mobile app and just used the watch with out the app. My steps are incorrect now my millage is incorrect now my calorie burn is way off the heart rate never was accurate it more and more starting to feel like a cheap kids toy that just makes up it own numbers. I have been very meticulous about testing all it features and I can honestly say it failed in every aspect for me so far I am sad because I had high hopes but what can you say Google now own this and it what expect from a owned google company really.
