Sense won't stay connected to my phone's Bluetooth

Last couple of days Fitbit Sense has had to be rebooted in order to sync. Now no longer connects to Bluetooth at all. Have followed all the advice on other forum posts with the result that I now have an unconnected Fitbit as Bluetooth no longer works. It’s not the iPhone as nothing else has an issue. Sadly, my time with Fitbit is now ending and having seen that posts criticising have been removed…this product no longer meets my values. Formerly good product now not so.

Hi there, @Hillsgirl. Thanks for stopping by in the Fitbit Community Forums and for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Sense won't connect to your phone's Bluetooth anymore. We‘re taking your comments and sentiments in regards to our products into consideration. I will do my best to help you with this!

To better assist you, would you mind confirming whether you tried the following steps in the order listed:

  • Unpair your Fitbit device from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Fitbit device.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Fitbit device.
  • Once your Fitbit device is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again.

With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Sense first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.

Thanks for your response but I had already indicated that I had followed all the advice from the other issues raised, which includes all the steps you have advised. Bluetooth connection is not working as expected. Having been a long term Fitbit user, I’ve now bought a Garmin as this seems to have less issues and an interface that works and is looking forward not backward. Really sad to see what has happened to Fitbit. Thanks for trying to help.
