Lost connection to app on phone, happens multiple times and then just works out of the blue!  Can’t get it to sync most of day!  I have never had this happen with any other of my Fitbits in the past.  Anyone know issue?  My gf having same issue with iPhone 11 and the sense!

Hi @Darrylf. It's nice to see you here in the forums.

Thanks for letting me know about your Sense and I'm sorry that you're not able to sync correctly with the Fitbit app. Let's work on this together! Before anything else, please make sure the Fitbit app and your watch are updated. Once that is done, try reconnecting your watch to the Fitbit app by doing the following:

  1. Forget the Sense from the Bluetooth settings on your phone.
  2. Turn off other Bluetooth connections that are nearby.
  3. Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone.
  4. Restart your watch.
  5. Open the Fitbit app and pull down on the screen to force a manual sync.
  6. If you're prompt, accept to pair your watch via Bluetooth.

Please monitor your watch in the next days, and ask your girlfriend to try the same steps with her Sense and iPhone 11.

About 2hrs after this all of a sudden it connected on its own, this has happened multiple times.  Both my phone and the App were always updated, first thing I check when I have issues is to ensure neither needs an update.  I have forgot the sense multiple times, one of the times it took me all day prior to being able to get my phone and sense to pair again.  There is something wrong that i have never experienced before.

Hi @Darrylf. It's good to see you again.

Thanks for your efforts while trying the suggestions from my post. I'm sorry your Sense is still not able to sync correctly and just to confirm, do you receive an error message when trying to sync? Did you make sure to turn off the Bluetooth from any other device nearby, such as phones, tablets or computers? Please give one more try to the following steps:

  1. Forget the Sense from the Bluetooth settings on your phone.
  2. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  3. Restart your watch.
  4. Open the Fitbit app, tap your Profile picture > Set Up a Device.
  5. Choose your Sense, tap on replace device and follow the onscreen instructions.
