@SandyEnr,

Are you trying to pair it directly to your phone through its bluetooth connections and getting a 'refused' error?

This is normal.  You don't pair the Fitbit to your phone directly, you add the tracker through the Fitbit App and IT negotiates the bluetooth pairing on your behalf.  Please try that.

I hope this helps.

Please include what steps you are doing @SandyEnr

At what step the failure occurs.

Any error messages.

The probablem with only saying it don't work when we can not see what is going on, gives us nothing to work with.

I also have been having issues with my new sense and my Samsung s9+.  I won't relay phone calls or text to the sense. The fitbit ap is updated, all the notifications on the fitbit ap are enabled. I have done the whole process with the Bluetooth set up having the sense sending numbers to my phone and my phone recognized it. The issue is, when I go to my phone settings, go to Bluetooth settings, it says sense controls connected. But when I tap on the ⚙ on the right next to it and open up the sense controls screen it has two options, one says calls the other is imput device. The imput device toggle is on but the calls toggle is off. I keep sliding it to on but it automatically slides back to off. I have already had my phone Bluetooth forget the sense controls and re installed the sense controls multiple times, I have also restarted my phone. Neither has worked.

Having the Sense send numbers to your phone is not connecting the Sense to your Bluetooth. This is setting up your Sense to your Fitbit account. Once the tracker is connected to your account, the Fitbit app will ask to pair the tracker to the phone.

Opening up Bluetooth, the Sense should now be listed, and is telling you that the Sense is a trusted device. The Sense should not show up as connected.

Being trusted means that when communication between the two are requested. Permission to connect is approved and the two should connect.

A restart of the phone will only restart the software. Sometimes the hardware needs to be reset and only a phone shutdown will fix this.

@Aaig we want to check the phones Bluetooth for the Sense to be listed. To answer calls through the wrist we want Sense Controls to also show in the list.

Swipe down on the screen and open Settings - Apps - Fitbit - power or battery - not optimize or disable management.

Now let's open the Fitbit app - Account - Sense - Notification.

Tap the 3 dots in the top right corner and send test call.

If it fails. Disable Notifications and re-enable. You should be asked to accept some permissions. You need to agree to them.

Back out of screen and enable the different notifications.

Keep us updated.

@Aaig this is my phones Bluetooth.

Sense Control is paired, not connected.

Tapping on sense controls will start the connection process and fails.

Tapping on the Sense Control settings gets me to this screen.

My sense controls work and I'm able to talk through the phone.

Before we look into sense controls, we need to get notifications for phone calls working.

Yes I'm watching YouTube.

Exactly what is happening with you @Mellymoomoos

Is it about the Sense, or the hijacked conversation with the sense controls?

Or to ask another way.

Can you answer a call through your tracker, or does the tracker not sync?

Is the tracker even connected to your fitbit account?
