Sense not starting after quick battery drain

My Fitbit Sense was charged as normal to 100% at 7am.  By 11am the watch battery level was down to 16%.  To try to preserve what little battery life the watch had left, I set to sleep mode and took watch off until end of work day (5pm).  Watch was dead by the time I got home.  I charged the watch again but this time it never turned on.  When I remove it from the charger it vibrates continuously but does not turn on.

-- I have cleaned the back of the watch and the charger contacts as recommended (though the watch and charger weren't dirty).

-- I have long pressed the haptic button (10 seconds, at least) with no response except for the vibration to stop at 10 seconds until I stop the press then the vibration continues.

-- I have had no issues with watch until now.

Has anyone had any similar watch behavior with success to start?

Hi, @JSSA , this sounds like an issue for Fitbit Customer Support.  You can reach them on Contact.Fitbit.com .  Be sure to tell them the troubleshooting steps you have already tried.

It's not you, or your device. A number of Fitbit users are also experiencing this issue after a recent firmware upgrade.
