Sense not working properly since transfered to Google

My Sense will not allow me to set a timer any more. Nor will it shut down properly to reset. When pushing the button to reset, it goes directly to track exercise. Also, my messages are garbled.... many letters missing. Weather icon gives severely incorrect info. I've changed my watch face, but that didn't make a difference. It was working just fine until Google took over. Is it "Toast" or can I fix this? I've only had it about a year.

Hi @Foodkop - it may only be a temporary operating system issue and might be coincidental as it can happen anytime.

If you have tried holding the button for 10 seconds till it vibrates and the logo appears and wait for it to start hasn't worked,

Try a factory reset carefully as it too can make the watch unusable. Allow 5 minutes once started and then set up the watch as from new.

It is a good idea to make a note of the names of any clocks or apps and any special watch or app settings you use before the reset.

How do I do a Factory Reset? If I have to press the button on the side to
do it, it won't work. That always starts an exercise program.... does not
shut it down. Thanks.

@Foodkop - hold the button for at least 10 seconds till it vibrates and the logo appears and wait for it to start. A short press won't suffice.

In watch Settings tap About Sense to factory reset, or you can always chat via the Fitbit App, click profile photo, Help & support, Contact Customer support for help with a button factory reset.

I did that and got to the logo, but it's stuck on the logo. It's been like
that for an hour.
