Sense pairing problem

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Just bought a new Fitbit Sense.  Blue tooth pairing with my iPhone 11 is constantly dropping.

i have tried the following.
1.  Updated the Fitbit App

2.  Restarted my  iphone

3. In iPhone settings,- Bluetooth - Sense- forget this Device (then I have reconnected successfully after that but only for a short time). Step 3 has been repeated countless times.

Can anyone advise please.  I am feeling pretty disappointed with my new toy!

Hi @Aucklandsummer  - it is most likely a phone issue, the Fitbit App needs to run in background, so if you close it or the battery saving closes it, it stops syncing.

Also only the Fitbit app can do the pairing, it can't be done in Bluetooth.

The SimpleCheckUp app may help you see from the watch if it can connect to the phone or not which may help with fixing it.

Often

  • logout/login of the app
  • Go to the phone home screen without closing the App
  • Click on sync popup
  • Wait for pair and link prompts
  • Sync

Will get you going in the interim.
