5 days ago my sense "died". Went through all the suggestions but still just a black face.
- charger tested - ok
- Used 2 charger - same result.
- Put on charger for 12 hours, twice.
Tried the reset procedure, 20 + times
The face shows no signs of damage.
I did go for a swim (5 minutes.. surface only) so put in rice now for total of 48 hours.
Contacted Fitbit on chat and received an email after few days. Just suggestions on things to try. Tried them no luck.
How do you go about getting action. Anything else I should try?
Best AnswerIn sorry to be the presenter of bad news, but most fitbit watches only last 2-3 years on average. That's the business model. Planned obsolescence. Call and complain and they may give you a discount for a new one.
Exact same thing happened to me today. Watch was working fine...they did an upgrade and it's dead. And I am told out of warranty.
They killed it and fkd me.
