Sense screen detached then died

My sense screen detached after it was about a year and a month old. Barely out of warranty. I used a cover to keep it on, but then the screen died completely. The watch still works through the app, but I liked having the time handy and the timer. I finally gave up wearing it two days ago. That is pathetic. I considered buying a new Fitbit, but after reading this forum I won't. Too many people have experienced the same thing with no adequate response from Fitbit. $300 for something that barely made it a year. I'm curious to see how Fitbit responds but I'll look for a different product.

I've talked to a few people since then who say their Fitbit face came off.
One actually did get a relacement. Otherwise, I'm not getting the
impression that Fitbit cares.
