Sense screen display fuzzy

Good morning,

I have a fitbit sense.  Thursday while on a boat, I was splashed by a wave.  The home display time is now large and fuzzy.  The step count is not showing.  All other screens look normal when I go to them.

I have reset it a few times, with no resolution.

I would greatly appreciate assistance.

Hi @Cmelliott,

I would start by drying the Sense out with white rice.  My sister had a similar accident in the lake with her phone a number of years back, but her phone was lost in the bottom of the lake for hours.  After placing the phone in a bag full of white rice for a day, you would never know that it was doused in water.

The rice acts as a starch, which helps to draw out any residual water.  That may be what's affecting your screen.

That is sad. Fitbit is supposed to be water resistant up to 50 meters and splash should not affect the device. https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1598.htm

If you are sure you haven't damaged the Sense by dropping on floor etc, customer support will offer replacement. Be aware that you most likely get a refurbished/recertified device as replacement (as per warranty terms - https://www.fitbit.com/global/us/legal/returns-and-warranty).
