Active people wearing Fitbit move all day and do a lot of activities. Things happen such as falling, slipping,…etc. can lead to broken device and or cracked screen. I just started using Fitbit sense for a couple months. In the lockers room slipped from my wrist and screen cracked. I contacted customer service and sure enough they don’t offer to fix it. I will pay for the repairs yet they don’t offer fixing nor replacing or refurbish option that I can pay for. This is suppose to be designed for active people and if you don’t have plan to account for accidental damages you better off not selling product that can’t be repaired. If I knew that Fitbit don’t support damaged products I would definitely consider different option. Or just use my phone at least I know phone cracked screen can be fixed. I can’t believe that I’m stuck with cracked screen. My advice, do your research and buy something that can be fixed. I don’t think that’s too much to ask for.

Hi @Fitness4living - watches aren't repaired if broken and replacing a screen would probably cost more than a new watch anyway unless you do it yourself. There would also be no guarantee it would be waterproof or how well it would work after.
From the finance side ask your household insurance and credit card purchase if a replacement is covered. Fitbit warranty only provides for functional problems, like most products accident coverage or user damage is not included in the standard warranty.
