How do I fix this? Screen frozen this way for hours. (Fitbit image, not a clock face)

Update: I tried to charge it. The screen stayed the same. When I took it off the charge it started getting hot. Within minutes it was hot enough make red marks on my hand, I think the watch is unusable already, watch was purchased on Aug 24, 2021 and died on Dec 3, 2022. 15 months for a $250 watch isn’t worth it. I am very disappointed!

Hi @teresassense - when a watch gets hot in this way it usually implies internal damage, most likely from water getting in.

Considering I never took it swimming or immersed it in water and I never damaged the screen to create a noticeable opening, I am not sure how water got it. But a watch should be more durable to die in that short of time by normal wear.  Well, I would have thought a watch of that expense should last longer than that by normal wear. It showed the Diamond fitbit symbol for many hours frozen before the battery died. Then I charged it. It didn’t get hot til after I removed it from the charger.

@teresassense- you can always chat via the Fitbit App, click profile photo, Help & Support, Contact Customer Support, in case it is recoverable in some way but probably not.

My screen has completely stopped working and my battery does not last for more than 5 hours.  I just got this Fitbit back in June, and the one I had before I almost never took off for over a year and never had any problems like this.
