Sense shows a slowly charging message

Hello. Can somebody help.

my Sense suddenly “died” whilst walking. On my way back,  I quickly  put the charger in  - as I have done many time before, and 2 h after got the red notice “slowly charging” try a different power outlet. I’ve used this power outlet several times before and it is the same that charge my phone an it is working. I did get that notice before but on pressing ok it would continue charging. Now, according to the Fitbit app it has not charged and the iPad seem to try and find the Sense to no avail.

what is going on with FITBIT?

NB Just looked on the Bluetooth connection and the Sense is NOT connected ! That’s a new one as I have not disconnected anything..

So how do I reconnect ? Do I dismiss the Sense and reconnect ? With no battery power in the Sense?

Just in case someone has the same problem, I seem to have resolved it : I did an update of the Fitbit app through the Apple Store; a hard reset by pressing the button until the Fitbit logo appeared; turned Bluetooth off then on; reconnected The Sense to the iPad, pairing etc.
and it’s done !
Hoping it will solve the battery time too; very short times between charges - especially using GPS of course.

Anyway, one less headache

Hi @Marmelade. It's good to see you around the forums.

This is great news! I'm glad that you got this sorted out, and thanks for sharing the steps that worked for you. Your post is very detailed and I'm sure your suggestions will help other members experiencing similar issues.

In regards to your other inquiry, I understand your concern since your iPhone seems to charge well with the same power outlet. If you haven't done so, let me suggest trying the troubleshooting tips described in this help article to ensure your Sense will start charging correctly. Then monitor its behavior in the next days and let me know if it keeps showing the same message.
