While I love my sense, it's turning into a nightmare anytime I do workouts (bootcamp, personal training, hiit, yoga, etc.). I have disabled the side button in settings for the press and hold and double tap features. This has no no affect on my workout. The side button still pauses the workout mode. I have tried all manners of switching the watch (I'm right handed and wear it on my left, I've switched it upside down so the button faces to the right), I've worn it up higher. Nothing seems to work.
Is there a remedy? Please, do not tell me about Fitbit's auto workout features- I do not use them as the times are not correct and it does not pick up my strength classes. Workouts are started and ended manually.
Thanks- I've searched everywhere, but the only thing I have been told/ found is to disable the button, which does not solve the pausing issue during workouts.

I've had this happen recently on a cycle I went on. I lost a couple of miles of stats.. rather disappointed... the only fix I found was to wear the band slightly higher up my arm, which for me thankfully worked, I just have to remember to move each time I do a workout..

Hi @Landy04 , thank you for sharing your solution to this thread as well as your experiences.
Hi @Mross208 , thank you for your information and your efforts. Some activities have the auto pause option. This feature will pause your activity automatically if you make a longer pause. Please go to the training app on your Sense, select an activity. You'll see a gear icon. Tap on it.
You'll see the settings for this activity. Verify that the auto pause feature is off.
Let me know how it goes.

Can you let me know what exercises the auto pause is featured on? I’ve checked the settings for workout, circuit training, spinning, bootcamp, etc and see no auto pause feature.
Wearing the band higher and affecting your heart rate reading is not a solution nor does it work (for me). I wear the band just like Fitbit says to do during exercise. Workouts are pausing whenever there is a wrist movement- planks, burpees, shoulder taps, etc.

How about the fitbit auto recognizing when you do a workout and then just editing the exercise details afterwards?
I, personally don't start an exercise when I workout most of the time - i just let it auto recognize based on my activity.
If I do remember to start a workout on my fitbit, I usually just do "workout."
I edit the details later in the app - the start and end time is usually accurate, so no need for me to adjust.
