Sense sleep info on app

Today when I woke up and checked my sleep stats on my Spence, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the sleep info, awake, REM, deep, light was listed right below the hours and sleep score instead of me having to dive into the app to get the basic info. Nice job on that one. Thanks Fitbit

The past two nights I’ve logged a minimum of three hours sleep, yesterday in two separate sleep sessions and last night one. My Spence is saying when I synch it I had two+ hours, yet I’ve been tracking the time I go to bed adding +10-15 minutes to get to sleep and recording when I wake up on a pill app(see screen shots below) Today my health stats were all showing as being recorded and my Sense watch shows a score. When I changed my sleep time manually to reflect 3+ hours sleep, I get no breakdown of REM, DEEP, LIGHT, AWAKE, nor am I getting a score on the Sense app on my iPad like I usually get?

Hi, @Broadwing, welcome, I apologise if you have already seen this How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device? which contains a lot of background information. You will see that restless periods are recorded as awake on occasion, if you are waking to take medication this will clearly have an impact. Naps need to be at least an hour. This is a complex arrangement and once you have reviewed the above article you may be in a better position to explain the change over the last three nights.

I hope this helps.

Cheers

  • Hi, I am using the pill app to track my sleep ie, when I lay down to sleep I record the time, when I wake up I record the time, then I check my Sense synching first to see if it recorded the time I have. realize it takes me awhile to go to sleep ie I add 10-15 minute. I didn’t wake up during the time period I recorded that I know of. Prior to the past two days I was getting a score and data no problem as the Sense was recording 3+ hours sleep time.  Just Thursday and Today is where it was saying 2.5 hours or less being recorded. I have the watch charged full, tight on my wrist etc. My sleep periods are screwy now……anyway.
