Sense stopped working after getting wet

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Sense was submerged into c. 2 inches of water. for the first time ever, and then started to glitch before it failed completely.

Now it will not start/ hold charge. Fitbit will not replace as "out of warramty".

They claim to be 100% waterproof. Anyone else had this problem?

Hi @SiouxN  actually, it's water resistant, not waterproof. See Page 75 of the user manual. click to read.  Now you could try drying out any residual moisture (dry rice in a bowl for 48 hours) and then cleaning all connectors before charging it. If you charged it when it was wet, it could have fried the battery.

Well water resistant upto 50m certainly exceeds the 2 inches/5cm it was
subjected to. It failed miserably within seconds.

I've tried everything, to no avail. It's starting but not holding charge.
I'll never buy another Fitbit.
