I have had my Sense since they were released in 2020. A primary reason that I upgraded was because of the ability to swim without worrying about taking my watch off. I don't swim often, but we do go on cruises and when we are at the beach I would rather not take my watch off. We were recently at Coco Cay and I decided to swim in their fresh water pool with my Sense on. I was in and out most of the day. Near the end of the day my Sense would not turn on or respond in any way. I followed some of the suggestions on the community board to dry, wash, clean, and charge my Sense, nothing has worked. And now when I do put it on the charger, it gets exceptionally HOT. Hot enough that I am afraid to leave it on without supervising it. I'm sure it would get hot enough to melt itself or something else. Any suggestions? I've always supported Fitbit. This was even purchased on a preorder. But why should a product fail because of an advertised capability? If you can't swim with it, don't advertise that you can! Not sure where to go from here? Do I purchase another one and wait for it to fail again?

Hi @upyesss - it undoubtedly got water in it and if it got hot may have suffered damage - you could always try drying in a bag of rice for several days, but if it gets hot while charging, stop immediately as it is dangerous.
If it does work again, depending on the damage, the battery may not last more than a day.
