Sense stopped working properly

Basically above.

I have had a black screen for two weeks now. I tried resetting and nothing happened. So, I bought some generic Sense chargers off of Amazon the other day and I put it on one a bit ago and tried the reset.

No display, but now I'm getting the start up sound/ding every few minutes while it charges.

Has anyone had this happen before? I couldn't find anything online about it.

I'm only a month out of warranty, too. ;_

Hi @l34v3m3410n3 Also try changing the lock face you are using. If that doesn't help you are probably out of luck unfortunately. I would still try Fitbit Support  , though if you are out of warranty I doubt they will replace it.

Is the FitBit showing it is charged and recording the steps in the cell phone app? If the FitBit it is, try selecting a different clock-face on the FitBit app on your cell phone. You may also then need to do a reset on the FitBit while it is on the charger. My FitBit went black although the step count was still updating on the cell phone app. I had a 3rd party clock-face that I had purchased through FitBit. When I switched to a FitBit clock-face and reset, the FitBit is now fine. I no longer see that other clock-face as a clock option so I suspect FitBit is no longer supporting it. Good luck!

So, I tried that and it didn't work. I reached out to support and they said to disconnect it and try to reconnect it to my phone. Obviously a mistake on my end for listening, because now it's trying to connect to my phone, but I can't get the 4 digit code.

Yeah, no. It didn't. I decided to get rid of the Fitbit and got a Garmin.

I'm going to receive my 3rd Sense within the warrantee period.  Bot the first two locked up on the login logo and would not do anything else.  I have read and watched YouTubes about it locking up when a new clock face is being loaded.  The one that failed last week - I took it off the charger, saw it had a clockface on it I had not seen before - for a few seconds, then shut down and that was it.  Could only get it to the Logo with an occasional vibrate.

I've looked for comments about the new Sense2 having the same problem.  Does anyone know if this happens on them too?
