Sense stuck on Fitbit logo

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Fitbit Sense has been stuck on the logo and will not restart since last Thursday, September 14th - pushing the button just keeps recycling the logo.

Fitbit/Google what are you doing to resolve the issue with, what appears to be a problem for many Sense users?!

  • This device is not even 2 years old and I paid good money for it, not to mention the money I've spent on bands, etc. It sounds like there are MANY of us that have had this happen with a Sense in the last two weeks!

What is the solution here?!?

Hi there, @Trish_NE. Thanks for stopping by in the Fitbit Community Forums. I appreciate you've taken the time to try troubleshooting the issue with your Sense before reaching out. I understand how you must be feeling.

If you haven't done so yet, I suggest trying the steps below in the order listed:

  • Unpair your Sense from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Sense.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Sense.
  • Once your Sense is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again.

With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Sense first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.

I've done all that - this isn't a pairing or phone issue, this is a Fitbit issue. I've opened a complaint with the BBB as this seems to be an issue Fitbit is not willing to address given the sheer number of people reporting this issue about their Sense in the past two weeks.

It is literally stuck on the logo and no amount of holding the button down will restart it .... many others reporting the same issue and the steps you've outlined above have not resolved any of them.
