Hi there - my fitbit sense also stuck in restart loop / black screen.. Have tried restarting (it’s not vibrating at all despite lots of attempts), it did flash back on for a few minutes, thought I’d got it sorted by adding / pairing new device again, worked for few minutes then stopped again (this time randomly showed temperature gauge (not appropriate as neither too hot nor cold), then it showed 0% battery symbol (also not true as fully charged to 100% earlier today, and also on charge again….) tried different charging cables none of it works - has there been an update from Google that’s caused this??

This is happening to me as well. Went to bed last night with it working, woke up during the night with it vibrating and flashing of emblem and white line across the screen. Took it off as it was waking me up. Now today it won't charge or reboot. I have tried 2 different chargers, cleaned the charging pins and the back of the device, all the usual things support tells you to do. The side button is not even moving when i try to push it in. This is my third pebble! What can I do please?

Same for me today. Hope someone brings a solution in the community so I write a message to be updated about this firmware issue

I finally fix mine.
After the battery die because of many hours trying ro restart by itself
1- I open Google play store and update the Fitbit App
2- Shutdown my phone
3- Recharge my watch (the loop start again and again) but with the hard reset, on the watch, hold all buttons for about 10 to 12 seconds. It finally start
4- Reboot my phone and synchronize
Hope the problem do not come back again... WHAT A MESS !!!!

I was able to run the factory fresh firmware install 3 times, but it always reverted to the looping logo after each time. Now I can’t get it to reset any more 😐

Nothing I have tried seems to work. I have been left with an almost $500 lemon. I just want Fitbit to acknowledge there is something seriously wrong when it's not just one or two devices have been affected by this update. I'm on my 3rd replacement pebble. I have spent a lot of money over the last couple of years on bands and other accessories so I'm very reluctant to just throw it all away. I just want my Sense to work! Why won't it? (Frustration kicking in here, sorry).

However, they eventually refund money to individuals after exchanging 10 or 20 emails. So muster your courage and compose an email to initiate negotiations. Best of luck!

Thanks Mark I was waiting to see if they had come up with a resolution but it seems it's going to be a while. Yes I'll start the comms with the company directly. Such a shame as this smartwatch was really really good and it was exactly what I wanted. Not so much now.

So for me it was my first, my wife has had 2 others, not to mention the bracelets which are null in resistance for a sports watch, the non-existent and mute after-sales service I will no longer have a fitbit, and they can count on me to make bad publicity everywhere I can the attitude of the company is unacceptable in 2024 fitbit is S....

Yeah it's a bit naff for this fault to be nearly a week old and still no help from Fitbit at all. This is the most expensive Fitbit model (or it was when I initially purchased it) and it was not a cheap purchase. I have spent A LOT of money on accessories (bands, chargers etc) so for me to have to throw out my Sense leaves a very sour taste!
