Syncing issues since 2021 May 14
Tried all troubleshooting steps including removing sense and reinstalling it.
worked until 2021 May 21 but had to keep on pairing an unpairing intermittently. continues to be unable to sync today even after following same steps.
running on iOS 14.5.1 on iPhone 11 pro
sense app version 128.4.17
checked if any other Fitbit app update and app said my sense is updated
Fitbit user since 201x. Have gone from Fitbit charge to versa 2 to sense. And I am deeply regretting decision. I have also given family Fitbit as a gift during the pandemic to make sure we stay healthy and we go on family challenges. If I move from Fitbit to apple then my mom would be the only one left on Fitbit and I don’t want that. If this does not get fixed in a week would like to get a refund.

Hi @blusneakers I'm not sure what all troubleshooting steps where done.
However, removing the tracker from your fitbit account and the fitbit app is not one of the recommended steps.
You must have at some point fixed the sync issue, or the tracker would not be connected to your fitbit account.
Have you tried clearing the phones cache?
Force stopping the fitbit app? Swiping out of memory is not enough.
Powered off both the Sense and phone? A restart will not reset locked up hardware.
Have you turned off your phones Bluetooth, logged into your fitbit account on moms phone, it will try and sync.

see if you can roll back one version of iPhone iOS 14.4.2 and test if your fitbit sync issue have resolved itself after that.

Troubleshoot steps tried:
1. Powered off both sense and iPhone
2. force stopped app
3. Turned off Bluetooth, logged into Fitbit app
4. Removed other Bluetooth devices on my iPhone.
and also other suggestions from the compiled troubleshooting steps from the link below. https://piunikaweb.com/2021/05/07/fitbit-sense-sync-issues-come-to-light-after-recent-app-updates/
All of those have yielded the same results. Still unable to sync.

@blusneakers I have had the same problem last able to sync May 11th, and my phone is an android. I even tried resetting the fitbit to factory settings. I'm super frustrated because I loved my Sense. Customer support just took me through the same troubleshooting steps.

I recently purchased the Sense and I am experiencing Sync issues as well. It keeps telling me that my phone isn't currently connected blabla. So frustrating. I even tried two different Galaxy phones after resetting the Sense to factory.

Hi @blusneakers - sorry to hear of your issues but I hope you understand that we are mostly just other Fitbit users here in the Community Forums. We do not have to ability to process a refund, let alone within your timeframe. Please check with Fitbit Support.

no worries. I am not here to get a refund. I am aware that this is a user's forum and I won't be able to get help from support. Well, that's exactly why I am here because I am just getting the round around. It's quite upsetting when they assume I'm an idiot.
reminds me of "your holding it wrong'
cheers

Removing a tracker from the fitbit account usually only dogs a deeper hole. We now have to setup a tracker that we already know will not communicate with our phone.
Has anyone tried clearing the phones cache?
A complete shutdown (hardware restart) of the phone and tracker? A restart may not be enough since it is only a software restart.

Yes we’ve all done all of those things! Does anyone even actually read the forums?

Yea but we shouldn’t have to do that every day!

I've had the same problem. Came back to SF from Miami and my Sense stayed on Eastern time. Tried all recommended steps, then did the same with Fitbit Help. No longer Syncs. The woman told me to not select Pacific time, to choose Arizona. Problem isn't the time zone, my Sense isn't syncing.
