Sense unable to track Sp02 on-demand

I just bought the Sense. To my disappointment, it doesn't have the SpO2 measurement as needed and measure anytime. This would be such a helpful tool, not just when i sleep. I need to know when my oxygen level drop from normal. Other brand watches have this available why not Fitbit Sense - as it is the top of the line for Fitbit.  Please upgrade the Sense so one can have that feature soon or this is useless for those who need this tool.

Hi @Bergy3  - have a look in the feature suggestions forum for similar requests.

Already the SpO2 feature for measuring your levels overnight can use as much as 2 days of your battery life, if it was on 24/7, that could leave less than 2 days of battery life.

If you want to do on the spot readings try a finger tip device, around $20 for a Bluetooth model.

Thanks for the suggestion, however if fitbit wants to keep up with their
competition they will add this.. If it is the battery life that fitbit is
worried about they should have it as an option to check when one wants like
the ecg not analyzing it 24/7 in addition to your sleep. I don't want to
buy another item for $20 to do this it would be nice to have it
consolidated in one watch like other brand watches have.
Thanks.

If you see Fitbit is keeping many features behind the sleep status: apart SpO2 we have HRV, body temperature, EOV (Fitbit never explained the difference with SpO2), breathing rate...

The fact that they can't be tracked on demand keeps Fitbit safe from every comparison with profession tools or other devices and therefore in my humble opinion is done on purpose.

Very true, even a $50 brand new fitness band has on demand SPO2. Sold on the A ending in a Z. The Bluetooth syncing issues is another big problem. The you really have a lot of work to do, as the competition is creeping up and at a lower price you're getting a lot more now. You can't even say too much for the hardware difference for the money for a $300 MSRP sense product compared to a much lower cost one. There has been quite a few hardware issues such as the glass coming off of the face, Bluetooth syncing issues, we've seen some sense devices actually go blank or dark not even two years old. You really want to like the brand and their technologies but again, they have some work to do.
