Sense vs. Galaxy Watch 4

I recently bought a Galaxy Watch 4....and like everyone told me, the battery life is absolutely terrible.  I love the call answer features etc. that it offers however.  Has anyone gone from Galaxy to Sense?  I have worn a Versa Lite for years and it's fine but I want to upgrade.  Thanks for any insight.

I have not, but I have a Galaxy phone.  I like both and find both to have decent battery life.  I can easily get a week or so out of my Sense.

Thank you....I'm now deciding btw the Versa3 and Sense.  You love your Sense?  I returned the galaxy watch.

Hi @donor - if you rely on notifications and heart rate a lot on the Versa lite have a look in the forums for the issues people have with the newer watches before switching watches.

Also did you consider a Garmin Venu 2 Plus which is similar to the Galaxy watch 4 in shape and function but has better battery life.

I do not love my Sense. The sleep function has not worked consistently
since I have owned it. It has more to offer on paper, but, honestly, it
doesn't hold up to the promise. I might go with the Versa if you are
staying with Fitbit.
Good luck!

Hi @pdg1dolf - a Versa 3 will have the same issues as a Sense as it uses the same operating system.

Btw, have you synced and done a full Shutdown from the watch Settings menu? Wait at least 10 seconds before placing on the charger to restart it and charge it.

Also did you set sleep sensitivity to sensitive in the web dashboard?

Those may help with it's operations.

Hi Guy-,

Thanks for your suggestions.  Yes, I have tried both of those things and have had no luck.  I am open to hear any other ideas you might have as I have found no solution that is sustainable.  Sometimes I get 2-3 days and then it reverts to no sleep stages for not apparent reason.  For the past 30 days, I have had sleep stages randomly show up for 8 nights.  Very strange, but it is making me lose faith in fitbits, sadly.

@pdg1dolf - probably best to make a separate topic as a remedy is unrelated to this topic, you are more likely to get suggestions or via the Fitbit App, click profile photo, Help & support, Contact Customer support.
