Sense watch band just falls off even when setting

I got the sense in July setting in a chair the watch just dropped to the floor, later walking from my office to car it falls off this has happened multiple times very frustrating as the face cracked.  Is the band on Sense 2 the same as the Sense?

I could be wrong, but I believe it is.  It sounds like you're not pushing the Quick Release in all the way.
