My Fitbit Sense I've had for several years has stopped charging but the display shows the red 0% battery when connecting a charger. I've tried several different charger cables and usb chargers and ports over several days. I've followed all the tips online (cleaning, etc), but nothing seems to work. Pressing and holding the haptic button on the side doesn't do anything. The issue isn't the charging cables, as the pins are fine, and the Sense sees the cords connecting to turn on the 0% battery display when connected. It can't be totally dead, since when it's connected to my Windows computer, it shows up as a Vulcan device. Would appreciate any other suggestion.
Thanks!

This happened to me as well suddenly, exactly as described.
I may try to reach out to support but right now the device is useless.

Hi @Ted.S and welcome @joesc to the Fitbit community! It's great to have you here!
Let me help you with the issue you are having with your Sense that it seems it's not charging.
I appreciate all the troubleshooting you have already tried prior posting in the community,
If you see a battery icon at 0% but it never gets to charge even all you have tried, my best advice is to contact our tech support as @Ted.S has suggested. They count with better resources to investigate this issue further. I appreciate your time in this process.

I have the same problem & has been ongoing for months. When I try to reset is goes straight to ESG, I try shutting down in settings & that doesn’t work either.

I've just been speaking with Fitbit Tech support and got fobbed off with a discount code to buy a new watch!! Funny how we've all had the same problem happen at the same time and now being forced down the route of buying a new watch than giving the reason as to why this has happened in the first place. When I explained to the Tech team that my watch should last longer than 3 years I was told: "Just like any other electronic devices out in the market, its performance and physical condition may diminish over time and can be negatively impacted by some external factors, like being exposed outside while we use it daily." To me this says even though they design a watch that can be warn every day and during work outs, they're not made to last. Such a shame, as I always thought Fitbit was a higher quality brand but looks like they're falling behind in this.

Hi David, can you give us all more of an update on what this has happened to a few of us at the same time? This happened to me also very suddenly a couple of weeks ago and now I'm left with a premium membership for Fitbit but with no watch and being told I need to buy a new one. My device was only a few years old, so I'd be interested to know whether the recent update that happened which affected Battery life has anything to do with this.

This happened to me yesterday. Sense was almost fully charged went swimming (put sense in swimming mode) got out of pool and unlocked device it eas fine. An hour later dead! I out it in the charger and when I went to bed it was at 42%. This morning it is back at 0% it's been on the charger over night! @Fitbit this is ridiculous that a product that is barely three years old had cost $200 is dead.

Just happened to me, second time within 18 months, for the same reason: charger pins worn out. It's clearly visible, or you can feel with your fingers, they are barely above the charger plate.
I read somewhere they could be pulled out/retracted with tweezer. I just bought a new charger or Amazon, for $7 a pair.
