My sense completely died one night (had 80% an hour before it shut off). It won’t charge. the red exclamation mark showed up and it vibrated but won’t actually hold a charge. It’s not even 1.5 years old!!!! I tried a factory reset when I was able to get it to turn on for a couple of minutes but now it won’t even charge enough to do a new firmware update. Doesn’t charge enough to turn on recently.

Hi @a_bakos - unfortunately it sounds like it suffered a catastrophic failure, possibly from water getting in.
Unlikely but just possibly it may need cleaning or the charge cable or power source can be faulty. Check carefully the 4 pins on the cable are identical.

Thanks for the reply Guy. The charging prongs look the same height and I cleaned them. Arent they supposed to be water resistant as it has a swimming function?

@a_bakos- yes they are supposed to be waterproof but the seals can fail. There are things to avoid like hot water and detergents, saunas, sunlight if not worn, etc.
If you replace it consider the same model which has more features and is cheaper than the newer ones.
