Upon returning from my walk I notice the Sense doesn’t always show the END EXERCISE button but only RESUME. The only way to bring back the END button is to resume the timer and then stop it again.
This obviously produces an incorrect time even though it is just a few seconds or so.
Is this a bug? it sure looks like one!

Hi, @RealSting , welcome, I get the "End" button alongside the "Resume" button when I press the side button to end the walk. I suggest you try restarting your Sense, use the shutdown button in settings (Not the factory option in "about Sense") Sync before you do it, if restarting is tardy put your Sense on Charge.
Cheers

I get the same behaviour at the end of my run, and can repeat it consistently.
I come to the end of my run and squeeze the sense button, and it brings up "resume" and "end". Usually I now want to take a few seconds to get my breath etc - the main thing is I've captured my run time...
...or so you would think.
Because when - a minute or so later, breath recovered - I lift my wrist to wake up the watch again, all it says is "resume". As the OP says, the only way to get "end" back is by resuming then quickly squeezing the sense button again, but this fumbling inevitably adds a few seconds to your time. Pretty **ahem** annoying if you are trying to capture a personal best.
