Sense won't show text messages and Sense Controls won't connect

Can not read messages on sense device. When I got onto google assistant and say "read text message" I will get reply that says "I can not read messages on this device yet". Not only that but when I go onto Bluetooth it shows on paired devices with Sense and Sense controls when I click sense it says "an app is required to use this app" when I click on Sense controls and put on calls and input device they won't connect. What do I do at this point? All notifications and permissions on phone, fitbit app and Google assistant are turned on and doesn't work. Turned off watch then back on. Same with phone. Even Uninstalled fitbit and then re installed. No change.

I'm getting the same thing so I'm going to contact Support to see if they can help.

I just got off the chat with Fitbit Support, @AlishaC4.  They said in regards to that error message, once you have the device set up through the Fitbit app, you should be fine.  They suggested using the Sense Controls option to use it with your phone beyond that.
