Sense won't stay connected to my iOS device

I just replaced my Blaze with the Sense after considering an Apple Watch.  I wish I would've looked at these forums first. I open the app on my iPhone several times a day and each time, I am greeted with Lost Bluetooth Pairing.  This happens about 5-6 times per day.  I paid $250 for a pretty watch that does nothing, hoping there is a fix coming soon otherwise I will have to return this.

Hi there, @SevenTheHobbit. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Sense. We‘re taking your comments and sentiments in regards to our products into consideration.

While reading your post, I was wondering if you did remove your Blaze from your Fitbit account and phone's Bluetooth settings before pairing your Sense? If you didn't do this yet, please remove your Blaze first and then, set up your Sense. To do so, follow the steps below:

  • Unpair your Blaze and Sense from your Fitbit account and phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your new phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Sense again.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Sense.

@Rich_Laue Thanks for moving the post!

Hello @SevenTheHobbit I've moved your iOS Bluetooth question about the Sense, out of the unrelated Sense Control question. So that the thread is not hijacked.

Now since this is related to iOS and not any specific tracker, I've chosen to move this thread to the iOS board.

I'll be happy to move it back to the sense board

Its not the watch or our connection I believe its THEIR software problem and until they fix it we wont stay linked to our phones!!!! What good is " FIND MY PHONE" when its not staying linked to find it!!

And no weather temp either unless its linked!!!!😡:fire:

This does not work with my phone. I am using Sense and IOS phone, and it keeps on disconnecting. It is very annoying, to be honest. I have been using Fitbit since 2015, but this time, I am very frustrated; and I am thinking of buying Apple Watch because of this.

Didn't work can't unpaired because it says I have to have an app. If it's talking about the fitbit app. I've had it. It last sinked Jan 1st. I tried signing out, Uninstalling, reinstalling, wifi, bluetooth sees it but says I need the app. Unpairing is not an available option. It's your software update Fitbit!!!!

Yes, Fitbit has had no improvements from its first generation products. They are truly a waste of money. Constantly losing connection to the phone and have to turn off other Bluetooth connections for this useless thing to work.
Google taking over Fitbit has been of no benefit to the product. Soon Amazon will come out with something better for sure.
