Sense won't switch on

My watch stopped working on the last day of 2022. I had no previous issues over the 2 years and 2 months I've had the watch, except that the charger stopped working (one of the 4 small pins on the charger wasn't sticking out, so I replaced that 2 months ago).

 

After a beach run, I got into the ocean and then noticed that the watch wasn't tracking my steps as I waded out about 150m to where it was chest deep. When I got back to shore, the watch, which had over 25% charge, was dead.

 

I have followed all advice I can find online, which basically suggest a hard reboot by holding down the button for 10 seconds. I have done this at least 30 times and it hasn't worked, even holding the button for 20 seconds.

 

I have plugged the cable into different charging points but that didn't help. When I do connect the charger to my PC and connect the watch (which is where I always charge it), there is a beep of recognition, and another beep when I disconnect, but I can't boot up the watch. 

 

I have cleaned all the charging points carefully. Still no luck. I don't really want to buy another watch if I have to replace it every 2 years.

 

Suggestions?

Hi @SunsetRunner The Sense 2 has only been out a couple of months so I assume you have the original Sense, so I will move your post to the Sense Forum. Unfortunately it sounds as if your Sense has died and also unfortunately you are out of warranty. There is not much you can do about it.
