Sense won't sync and time is wrong

Hey all - odd sync issue here.  I noticed my watch was two minutes slower than my phone clock, so I tried manual sync.  It failed, so I did all the typical fixes - turned my phone's bluetooth off and on, resetting my phone, resetting my device, all in different orders.  No luck. The time, battery, and steps on the widget do not sync and I get a sync failed error.

However, with the app open, steps update and continue to live update while moving around.  It says my last sync was 19 Aug at 6:05 PM.  Nothing special happened around that time - I was sitting eating dinner with my Sense on.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

Hello there, @Jdico. Thanks for stopping by in the Fitbit Community Forums and trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Sense before reaching out.

In addition to the steps you've done so far, please try the following:

  • Unpair your Sense from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Sense.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Sense.
  • Once your Sense is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again.

With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Sense first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.

Once you manage to sync your Sense, the time should be corrected. Keep in mind that your Fitbit device uses the time of the device you're syncing with.

Hi all, I am having the exact same issue! Except the time is 10 mins slower than the time on my phone. So very frustrating. I have tried all of the steps listed to correct the issue. My last sync was early hours of yesterday morning.

Any help would be amazing. Thanks
