Also every morning, my Smart Wake doesn't work (when it does the vibration is very low and barely wakes me) I have DND on until 7:30am however I have alarms and notifications coming in at 8am and it doesn't not appear on the Sense.
I try to check the weather on my Sense in the mornings and it tells me I need to sync with my phone.
I never had to do that with the Versa. Is there a setting somewhere I'm missing?
So 2 things:
1- Smart Wake works sometimes and low vibration
2- Always have to sync the Sense to my phone every morning

Thanks for sharing detailed information about your Sense and the steps tried on your own. Let's work on this together! About the Screen Wake, because you've checked the DND settings, have you made sure the Sleep Mode is turned off at that time? Please note that when this setting is turned on, the screen will stay dark when you turn your wrist. To double check, on your Sense swipe right from the clock face on your watch to access the quick settings. Tap on Sleep Mode icon to turn this setting off. Once it turns dim, tap on the Screen Wake icon and set it to Automatic.
In regards to the low vibration, swipe to the left on your Sense and open the Settings icon. Then tap on Vibration & Audio and select your preferred vibration strength.
Lastly, so the Weather app can update its data, your watch must constantly sync with the Fitbit app. Because you mentioned that your Sense isn't able to sync, that's the reason why the apps aren't updating. Just to confirm, may I know if the Fitbit app is allowed to run in the background? Do you leave the Bluetooth enabled and the location services (for Android devices) turned on? I'd recommend to give a try to the troubleshooting tips described in this help article to get your watch syncing correctly.

I have DND on for certain hours of the day. 11pm-730am So I do not receive any notifications during that time. however at 8am I have notifications like certain reminders set on my phone, that I do not get notified on UNLES I sync from my phone first. Same things with the weather app. It will never tell me what the weather is in the morning, unless I sync. It actually says I need to sync in order to get that information. I have it to continuously sync... I never changed any of these settings from the Versa to the Sense. Also with the Versa there were 3 levels of vibrations, and I think the Sense only has 2... Light and Strong.. there is no inbetween. So when my Smart Wake DOES happen to work, it's so light I barely notice it.
If restarted, reset, disconnected Bluetooth, rebooted .. I've done everything and still it's the same results. I just never had to sync every morning in order for Notifications to alert me on the FitBit, and it allowed to run in the background.
It only syncs if I go on my phone, open the app and drag down to udpate/sync. I've researched it enough to see I'm not the only one having this issue: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Sense/Sense-occasionally-doesn-t-sync/td-p/4510269/page/2
