Sense won't sync

I recently haven't been able to get my phone and watch to sync.  My watch senses my phone and sends the code to sync but it never syncs.  My phone sees my watch when I look at available bluetooth devices, but they won't sync.  I have tried all the usual suggestions (restart phone, restart watch, turn bluetooth off/on, uninstall and reinstall app) and still have the same problem.  Any other ideas?

Hi there, @johnhubbard95. It's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Sense is still not syncing. I understand how annoying this can be, I will do my best to help you with this!

As a first approach, please make sure you've tried all tips and recommendations provided here Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

If the issue persists, please try the steps below in the order listed even if some of them you've tried already:

  • Unpair your Fitbit device from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Fitbit device.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Fitbit device.
  • Once your Fitbit device is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again.

With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Sense first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.

I have tried all of these things and it still isn't working. Since I tried some of this my sense doesn't even show up as a connected device.

Mine won't sync either. I've tried everything. Since the new horrible update, it's been playing up 😞

I called fitbit today, they had me factory reset my watch.  It downloaded an update and then I had to set up my watch again, but now it is paired with my phone.
