My sense stopped syncing to my Google Pixel 4a on September 8. I would try going into Bluetooth to connect to sense controls, but it wouldn't do anything. I could go into the app, which allowed the phone to connect to the watch so I could receive notifications, but it was constantly shutting off. I would have to repeat this several times a day.
I have gone through the help documents - reset Bluetooth, restarted watch, restarted phone, uninstalled the Fitbit app, deleted the watch from my Fitbit settings and tried to pair it again. When pairing it, my phone will see the watch, send the pairing code, but then stall out on connecting afterwards.
I googled and saw mention of pixels not being compatible with Fitbits, and though it worked okay-ish before 9/8, wanted to assess whether it was the watch or the phone. I then tried connecting the watch to our iPad. Again, it connected enough to get the 4 digit pairing code, but couldn't actually connect to the app. It's definitely something wrong with the watch and not the device.
I know there have been several updates to the watch in the last couple months - my connection issues were flaky before the first update, but improved for a while. Even at its worst, I was always able to go into the app and tell it to sync. Now I've got a watch that won't connect anywhere.
I see a few other posts about not being able to connect - is there an update coming to fix things or does this sound like the Bluetooth on the watch is shot?
Thank you!

I did a factory reset on the watch, then tried connecting it to my phone. That did the trick! The updates ran and everything seems to be working for the time being.

Bluetooth and turn Bluetooth off and back on. Turn your phone or tablet off and back on. Uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit app. If your Fitbit scale won't sync after you reinstall the app, log in to your Fitbit account on a different phone or tablet and try to sync.
