My notifications are not working at all with my Huawei P30 Pro and Sense device. It worked for months with no issues, but I recently got the "You need to restart your phone for notifications".
I have restarted numerous times, followed all of the advice around both deleting the cache and data, fully deleting and reinstalling the app but nothing works. The Sense still links with my phone and reports the data, but I cannot get the notifications to work at all. Even the "send a test call" from the fitbit app doesn't work.
Any ideas??

Hi there, @senseuser123. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Sense before reaching out. I understand where your concern is coming from. @Gr4ndp4 Thanks for your help!
If you're getting this error message “Notification service is not running. A phone restart is required to re-enable notifications on your tracker”, please note that we’re aware of it and are working to identify a resolution as quickly as possible.
I'd like to provide the following steps that actually work for Huawei users:
Note that you may see a message on your phone related to power consumption and apps scanning in the background. If you follow the steps in this message, the Fitbit app can’t run in the background and certain features may not work properly. Repeat the steps above to enable the Fitbit app to run in the background.
Hope that does the trick for you.

Hi, @senseuser123 , welcome to the community, may I suggest you review your app settings How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? provides guidance and advice. If your phone has had a recent update you should check the phone app settings allowing all permissions, in particular, ensure any battery-saving feature in your phone is disabled for the Fitbit app.

I get this too, so frustrating. But found out how to get it working. While on notifications, and has the red notice saying "cannot connect" or whatever it is. I click on that, which takes me to a settings page. I turn off the fitbit toggle (and confirm it). Then I turn the fitbit toggle on again, and confirm it. This works for me. And I have to do it every day to get notifications to my versa 3 from my huawei p30 pro.
Hope this helps, and it makes sense to you.
