Sense won't track my sleep stages

The sleep tracking works less than 10% of the time.  They really should stop advertising this as a feature.  It doesn't work.

As long as I get an hour of sleep, I would say 90%+ times it works. And if 3 hours or more, I get sleep stages 99% of the time.

What is the issue @Kmhoward. Since it is advantageous not to as further questions in a solved thread. I'll move your post.

Lucky you.  My Fitbit doesn’t track my sleep.  It commonly leaves 3 to 5 hours of sleep out of the equation. Again, they should STOP selling the product on this feature. It doesn’t work.  PERIOD

Ive had mine since january and after i found out I dont have to manually
start it, I just go to sleep and it works fine.

But my issue was they didnt TELL you upfront that it automatically worked,
they have a manual sleep option on the watch that makes it appear like you
have to tell it when you go to sleep, but again you dont.

Why do people keep trying to convince me that I’m doing something wrong?
I’ve read many, many blogs about the problem and have tried different
tactics. Sorry. It doesn’t work as advertised concerning sleep tracking.
Everything else works great.
