Sense won't turn on nor sync with my Fitbit app anymore

So my Fitbit Sense lost communications with my cell phone.  I had the bright idea of shutting it down.  Now I can't turn it on.  I try holding or pressing that so-called button and nothing happens.  I tried holding or pressing the button with the charger charging it and nothing happens.  It's dead.

I'd like to give you a couple of tips to get your issue resolved, please let's start the troubleshooting. 

Based on what you have mentioned, it seems that  this situation is deeply related to a charging issue. With that said, I just have to thank you for the steps you have already tried. 

As a first approach, I would like you to try cleaning the charging contacts on the back of the device using a toothbrush and a small amount of water. You should also clean the pins on the charging cable. Use a cotton swab and some rubbing alcohol, making sure no cotton fibers remain on the pins.

Finally, you'll need to connect it to a different USB port or a UL-certified USB wall charger.

Thank you for responding.  I don't think it had to do with charging.  The Fitbit was 85% charged when I shut it off.  It just won't turn on.  I've been told those fitbits do go out and this one was more than two years old.  So I've purchased a new one.  I've also watched the video someone did (maybe it was you) where they cleaned the charging contacts, but again, the charger was working fine.  In fact it was a new charger as my old charger stopped charging the watch earlier, and I did all those steps you mentioned and it still wouldn't charge.  When I purchased a new charger, it started charging again.
