Does anyone know why fitbit gives you a 20" charging cable?  Does everyone put there watch on the floor to charge it? I don't understand why it's so short.

I believe majority of people charge it through their computer or laptops.

@Lhyn  It is odd. You can get USB extension cables or adapters quite cheaply.

I started out charging it through my computer, but had to put it on the floor - not an ideal place. Then I plugged it in a USB plug but don't like it sitting on the edge of my desk as I don't want it falling off. I finally broke down and bought a charging cradle for it. At least the cable is long enough that it can sit on my desk safely. All of the Fitbit's that I've gotten in the past have had short cables.
