Should I buy the Sense?

I've been doing extensive research on the Sense since launch. When it was announced I was certain to get it. Had everything I wanted. Then I saw the reviews and was quite alarmed by how buggy it sounded. Noticed there has just been a software update, has that improved things? Would you recommend the Sense? Or best to wait to see if they can iron out the issues first?

I've been doing research too. And then was not sure if I should buy it due to the reviews. The answer is: it depends on what you expect. I have my old Blaze and after four and a half years they still work fine. But I wanted smartwatch that would have all the health and smart functions. Sense was the only smartwatch that ticked all the boxes for me. It's not perfect but neither is it so buggy that you can't enjoy it. The last update definitely improved things. And I think they will get better with every update.

Agreed it really ticks all the boxes for me. Just didn't want to be left with a buggy device that will only frustrate the hell out of me! CNET recent review seemed to suggest it was improving which is good to see. Thanks for the reply.

FWIW, I test drove it for a couple of days. Did not have any buggy issues at all and the watch provides a ton of health-related information. The only issue I had was the inability to read text messages without putting on my reading glasses first. There is no way or application you can get to increase the font size. I was coming from a WearOS smartwatch that didn't have that issue.  I liked pretty much everything about the Sense, but not being able to easily see and respond to text messages was a deal-killer for me. Returned it.

Thank you for the advice. Might also check with retailer how long I can try it for and return it.

Do look into other watches out there, like Garmin, samsung, I think samsung watches do blood pressure too now.

Not if you have a current Galaxy - it's not compatible with the Note 10.

I have had the sense for over a month and can't say I'm overly impressed.  Having a lot of issues with miss counting statistics and apparently its because I'm wearing it to wash my hands . But for a device thats designed to be able to be worn whilst swimming I think is more than a bit of a floor. So far Definitely not worth the price increase from the Versa 2 , I wore that watch 24/7 even in the shower most of the time and it never miss counted any stats
