In reference to the Sleep Benchmark, does that Benchmark range represent what I SHOULD be getting for the different stages of sleep or just what people like me are getting for sleep?  Because my understanding is that most people do not get enough sleep.

The benchmarks are in % of your sleep time.  It does translate that % to your time, but I think the benchmark is based on the % of your sleep.  At least that's the way I interpret it.

@Kport at the bottom of the benchmark graph, there is a note that says "Typical range for people like you". That range is for people in your demographic. It isn't suggesting what your personal range should be.

@Kport   I want to clarify what the percentage number represents when you look at your Benchmark data.  It is the percent time you spent in that stage for that sleep record.  All four stages will always add up to 100%.

@alexthecat is about the Benchmark range.  "People like you" tends to be those of the same sex and in the same 10 year age range.
