Sleep tracker only gave a basic report

Hi all. I have only had my sense for a couple of days so this is probably just me not doing something properly.

On my first night the sleep tracker measured all the data, Spo2, Rem, Deep sleep etc etc. This sleep was tracked automatically and i didnt select anything on the app.

Last night I selected "begin sleep now" on the app followed by "im awake" when i woke up.

This generated only a basic sleep report - showing sleep, restless and awake - no Spo2, Rem or deep sleep. It also showed the time asleep as from the moment i selected begin sleep to the moment i selected im awake.

Is it a case that last night i used a basic sleep tracker common to all fitbits when  i should have let the sense do its thing in auto?

Generally its great at detecting when you sleep and wake automatically, as you found the first night.

There are many things that affect the result, but for periods of sleep less than 3 hours you don't get the details.

Can recommend setting an automatic sleep schedule in the watch settings [quiet modes] and you can also set sleep to sensitive in the dashboard.

You can login to the account in the browser here and set sleep sensitive.

Lastly as SpO2 is calculated you may wish to check at least an hour later after the first check in the day for the results to appear in Health Metrics.

Yes @LeeSmeaton when using the Begin Sleep Now, the user will only see simple sleep.

It has been reported that by removing this sleep, and manually entering it, the user will get the advanced sleep reports.
