The sense needs a major update because it's falling behind in heart rate tracking, sleep tracking and always over counting steps.

I second that. The Sense is a huge disappointment.

Don't worry. Fitbit routinely releases OS updates. I'm sure we'll get an update soon.

That’s bull**ahem**. I’ve owned every Fitbit. ALL OF THEM!!! I got an update once in past 5 years

If they won't release any updates that will fix all the issue with the sense in the near future I think that fitbit will get a lot of returned devices 🙂

Exactly, it is horrible. Not just the step counting, which counts steps when I am sitting petting the dog or scratching an itch, but the sleep, HRV, breathing, skin temp, and oh the BS about 6 day battery life...

Same here. For me the biggest let down is the heart rate tracking at resting, its always higher than my other fitbits, and higher than when I do the manual counting.

I slept like 7.5 hours last night and it counted 4hr 14m. It got the wake up time right, but it said I went to sleep more than 2 hours later than what I did. I hope they do improve on that.

The Sense isn't even listed there!

I just don't get it... I've had the Sense since launch day and have had no issues at all. At first I was a little concerned about battery life, but am now getting 5 days will full use. I wish the interface was a little more fluid, but other than that, no issues.

That's good if you are getting your expected result but how do you know the numbers you are getting are actually close to accurate? The heart rate, steps, HRV are way off. I have verified it with multiple devices.

I got them about once a month when tbe Ionic came out. Not sure what Fitbit you have used?
Now as to all the issues above, I don't seem to have them I realize some do and you find them in forums more than those with no issues. Sleep tracking has been on par with my Galaxy Watch, and Galaxy Watch Active. Heart rate was dead on with the heart machine when I was in the hospital the other day. It does fine excersize but I walk only, though it is 7 miles or more at least 4x a week. I have been checking and so far it reading very close or the same as my Active 2 did at various stages like hills etc. As for steps, I am not sure. I do know my milage in walking is real close. Far better than my Io ic was before setting my stride length. I have not even done that yet so I think it would probably make it pretty close if I did. But as I said, the Ionic was bad too. I fixed it with stride length. One thing that has been an issue with this and the Ionic is how long it takes to get satellite link. With both this and my Ionic I have to walk a bit from the house. I thought maybe line of site was blocked but it maintains lock coming home. I laugh when people **ahem** they lose satellite underca bridge it in a tunnel. Satellite is a line of site technology. It's why you lose Sirius XM in tunnels and such.
On that note how cool would it be if we could get Sirius XM. But anyway, do not flip out on me. I am not saying none of you are having issues. You would not be here complaining if you were not. I am just relating my experience so far. I hope updates fix everyone's issues.

@BigRalphN Hello. Heartrate is okay when you are not doing much but when you are jogging it misses out a lot. I pulled out the raw data comparing to my apple watch series 5. Also, galaxy watches are not a good tracker to compare againts. They are horrible when comes to Heartrate tracker. But, hey you think it's working for you and you are happy that's all it matters. Take care

All of my Galaxy watches suffered from freezes. It part of why I came back to Fitbit(that and Samsung suddenly deciding to make new features that they promised a year ago only on Galaxy Phones after we had them for a year waiting on the feature). It waa fairly accurate storing it resting like the Sense. But even on a, walk, I do it brisk most times, it would randomly freeze, often well above your actual rate. I had to keep an eye on it. I would have to take it off. Dry the back on my wrist (might of had nothing to do with it) and normally it would restart heart rate. But it's a Fitbit forum. From reading here and on a cpue YouTube videos I noticed it seems to have issues in the Cardio range. Because of meds and hereditary low heart rate and BP, my heart never gets that high. When or if it does it is due to one of my health conditions and I end up in the ER. So I light never get there. 114-118 is about my max. For a heart stress test they have to use drugs. The treadmill doesn't do it. I do hope tbe fix it for everyone. Let's face it, any smart device or health device you get within the first six months of release is basically a wide beta release. They just can't buy and test it with every device and every situation. And I hope it doesn't start giving me issues. 😂

Edit the time and it will recalculate.

It's only just been released and hasn't had an update released yet so no, it won't appear there yet.

Thank you!! I am a new user and didn't know this was possible. Still kinda sucks that it doesn't track properly, even on sensitive
