The lack of offline music storage with Spotify is making me think of returning the Sense and switching over to the Apple Watch. For the same money I can get the new SE which OS wise blows Fitbit out of the water.
The fact that you can store music using Pandora and Deezer (who uses these seriously?) shows that it's not a hardware limitation but it's a company decision. I can understand the lack of integration with Apple Music, but Spotify? I only switched over from Apple Music and so far there's barely any difference. Now on the Apple Watch you can't use Spotify offline either unless you have the cellular option which my country doesn't support yet.
Will Spotify be available for offline storage anytime soon?
Here I am thinking about returning the Sense for an Apple Watch of the same price and switching back to Apple Music just so I can go on a run without having to bring my phone with me.
And also what's with the 6 month free premium only available to new users? This is a big slap to the face to current users who still decided to upgrade even though the price increase doesn't justify it.

Regarding Spotify my understanding is that, rather than Fitbit decision, is due to Spotify, If you noticed until few months ago Spotify was available offline only on Garmin and now recently Apple Watch. However Wear OS, for example, doesn't offer it due to Spotify unavailability.
Regarding the 6 months Premium free trial please contact support. As far as I understood they will be able to provide you the trial.

@Giampi71 not to hijack but I just spoke to Customer Service and they refused to give the trial to anyone that had one in the past. Really unfortunate as I had the trial when premium was new and not much was there - and now with a new sense would actually be interested to see the updates/possibly upgrade. But it appears fitbit per usual is giving everyone different answers.

Had the 6 month trial just expired over a week ago and decided not to subscribe and try the Sense without Fitbit Premium. Personally, I don't think that additional data is worth paying for.
The stress scores will give you a breakdown of how the scores were obtained. Heart Responsiveness, Exertion Effort, and Sleep. If you get a low score in any one of these or combination, this will reflect on the lower stress scores. All and good, the pushback I have on the data, is no insights are given on how to improve the stress scores aside from the most obvious improvement we could do. We all know a good night's sleep is essential along with exercise. The stress scores breakdown doesn't give suggestions on how to improve these 3 areas of score breakdown. Data is nice to have, yet what do we do with it?
For the Health Metrics, Fitbit Premium gives a 30-day range of your personal metrics. Ok, well and good. Now what do we do if we go below or above your 30-day personal range? No suggestions are given.
Sleep analytics. The heart rate graph shows spikes of increased heart rate during your time of sleep. Nice to have, and now what do we do about those heart rates spikes during our sleep? Obviously, we need a good qualitiy of sleep. The obvious suggestions are meditation and relaxation prior to sleep, which is searchable in several website that doesn't charge us as opposed to Fitbit Premium.
And so on and so forth....
My opinion, Fitbit Premium is not worth paying the extra money at this time. The heart rate during exercise are more important to me compared to the additional metrics/details that Premium offers. Came to this conclusion after having the non-premium app to the premium app, and now back to non-premium app.
And go to go back to the orginal post on Spotify, I agree. Having on-board storage of Spotify would be a great thing for the Sense. Being able to exercise without being tethered to your cell phone will just possibly mean a more efficient and meaningful workout.
Garmin watches offer similar metrics to Fitbit Premium AND is capable of music storage on the watch!
