Spotify control no longer on Sense

I can't believe the Spotify control function has been removed from sense. Any prospect of this function returning?

Being able to control Spotify from the Sense is very useful.

Hi there, @DPA67.

I've moved your post to the Sense board as this seems to be more of a question. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I understand how useful it is to have this feature on your watch, and I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Before anything else, I'd like to clarify that the Spotify Controls app should continue being available to install from the App Gallery. I understand this isn't your case, so could you verify if you have an active Spotify Premium subscription?

Assuming this is correct, please give a try to the following:

1. Forget your Sense from the Bluetooth settings
2. Check if the Fitbit app is updated and reboot your phone
3. Open the Fitbit app and pull down on the screen to force a manual sync
4. Tap Devices > Sense > Gallery > Apps and find the Spotify app. If it's not in the list, search for it and install it one more time
5. Then, turn on all Permissions and tap Settings to log in to your Spotify account
6. Open the Spotify app on your phone and play your music to see if the Spotify Controls work this time

Hi @DPA67 - in addition to what's already been provided, you can still use the built-in Music controls which allows you control any music playing on your phone and adjust the volume without having to stop what the watch is doing which the Spotify app doesn't..

A double button press can bring it up.

@Nadshahali Thanks for joining this thread and checking the information shared above. Just to confirm, have you tried the steps suggested in my previous post? If not, please give it a try to get the Spotify Control working on your Sense. As our friend mentioned, you can also use the Music Controls to any music coming from your phone.

Hi @Axoulle - please try the buit in music controls as mentioned earlier and make sure your watch is syncing.
