Stride Count

Since getting my Sense on 12-14-2020 I have using my other  smartwatch (ITouch Air SE) comparing the step count and floor count, since that is a very important feature for me. The Sense and the Itouch were reporting very different numbers, so I used my morning walk to better gauge the numbers.

I used the starting count and ending count as the watch shows and my actual pace count as I walked ( probably off a bit) after someone on Support Chat instructed me as how to set the Stride Length (set at 76 inches) the numbers after my walk were only off by a negligible amount.

Any one else using their fit for walks and how are your numbers coming up?

@cplmckenzie I also had to adjust my stride length. This is expected. 😊

Changing your stride count will not affect the actual steps counted.

To check the steps counted do a step count test.

Take a walk and use you mind or an event counter to count your steps, then compare with what Fitbit recorded.

Changing the stride will only change the recorded distance.
